So much that I enjoyed reading in this journal entry, Polly, especially about the completely mad Mr. Murrow and his crazy attire. The fact that you formally introduce him does not go unnoticed, despite his dress. You see and show respect for people, and that makes all the difference. It is what I admire about you. Thank you.

Such wonderful, colorful, rich stories, Polly! That's what counts the most.

"Rain shredding the air."

These essays really capture daily life and I really enjoy reading them. I hope historians have them 500 years from now.

I now have almost 140 pieces and 75,000 words. With my writing something new almost every day and publishing just twice a week pieces are becoming increasingly outdated and I am wondering if I just skip ahead to those that are more current but I am not sure it matters. I am also wondering if a book is the right format for this writing or just serializing it here. Or perhaps some day I could do both.

140 pieces is fantastic. I am not sure if being current matters, either, so hard to know these things...

A few days after seeing Mr. Murrow in his underwear I saw him at the grocery, fully clothed and considering a collection of Hostess pastries by the U-scanners. And he carried a bag that said Magical Spirits of Legendary Quality - from a distillery - but it really suits is mental makeup in a figurative sense. He also comes to the shelter now and then. I am a bit infatuated with him. He is just beautiful to watch, how he moves. He also has a very sonorous, calm voice, probably completely at odds with those in his head. I write about him in the series every time I see him. Stay tuned! I have almost 80,000 words and 140 pieces.

I am also thinking that being current doesn't matter. I can always post more current pieces as Notes.

Wow, thank you Jim. I try to pay attention. And I take a lot of notes! That was quite an evening. Mo and Mr. Morrow's situations really got to me.
