I am glad to pass along all my Indeed job alerts. Remember, trivia night host looked pretty good!

I probably wouldn't have been a good fit for the library assistant job anyway. I would have liked driving the Bookmobile but not toddler story time.

I used to work -- all the time, almost every day -- as an office temporary. I had good skills, including better computer skills than most or many of my permanent co-workers. In those days, if you had good office skills you could work all over the place as an office temporary, sometimes on long-term assignments.

That sounds like fun! Meeting all kinds of different people, learning new things in new places.

Loved this! I feel like we're all feeling this so hard right now. I also have a B.A. but in Linguistics, even though I have 6 years of University (College), and I speak 3 languages fluently going on 5. I think being open-mind and most of curious as you are is the key to not just "making it though" but truly living and enjoying the experience of life, no matter how wild it gets. Thank you for the great read!

You are welcome! I actually found out over the last few days that I am out of the running for one of the cashier jobs and the library assistant job. But that’s okay - I can focus on making a go of it as a writer. I am pitching a book of my writing about my mom, and I want to be the Seinfeld of the personal essay, saying way too much about nothing at all. I flung that out to Notes the other day. You may see it floating by at some point.
